Data Recovery Check-up
💳 The check-up fee is paid by card when you book - Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Your slot is confirmed as soon as it is paid.
What this includes
Data recovery is a two-stage service. Stage 1 - Check-up (£60, paid upfront, non-refundable): we inspect and test the storage device to find out whether the data can be identified and recovered. The check-up fee is payable when you drop the device off and must be paid regardless of whether the recovery is successful or whether you decide to go ahead. Stage 2 - Recovery: once the recoverable data has been measured, we contact you with the total and you decide whether to proceed. No recovery work is carried out without your approval. Recovery fees depend on the amount of data: • £100 for up to 50 GB • £240 for 50 GB to 100 GB • £360 for 100 GB to 200 GB • £460 for 200 GB to 300 GB • £560 for 300 GB to 400 GB • £660 for 400 GB to 500 GB • £760 for 500 GB to 1 TB • £1,000 for 1 TB to 2 TB Important: these prices are estimates. The final cost may vary depending on the methods and tools needed to recover your data, and we will give you an accurate price after the check-up. Please stop using the device now: do not reinstall Windows, format the drive, run CHKDSK or install recovery software.

We repair laptops and desktop computers only. We do not repair mobile phones, tablets or any other handheld devices, games consoles, or carry out micro-soldering and board-level chip repairs. Please do not book these in - we will not be able to help.
