Drop-off for agreed work

What this includes

Only for a repair we have already priced with you by email, WhatsApp or a written quote. There is no check-up fee on this drop-off: you pay the agreed price when the work is done. If we have not agreed a price with you yet, please book a Check-up / Diagnostics instead.

Please read before booking

We repair laptops and desktop computers only. We do not repair mobile phones, tablets or any other handheld devices, games consoles, or carry out micro-soldering and board-level chip repairs. Please do not book these in - we will not be able to help.

Usually on a sticker underneath a laptop or on the back of a desktop, or in Settings → About. It lets us match your device to its exact parts and history.

The quote reference if you have one, or the work and the price we agreed - e.g. "Q-2026-0142" or "Screen replacement, £120 agreed by email on 10 Sep".

The figure we gave you, e.g. 120 or 85.50. We check it against our own record when you drop the device off.

This drop-off has no check-up fee. The agreed price is payable when the work is done.

Please keep in mind: The agreed price covers the work we discussed. Once we open the device, a repair can reveal an unforeseen problem that also needs fixing, and that may carry an extra cost. If that happens we stop, explain what we found and the cost, and nothing extra is done until you have agreed to it. You can always decide not to proceed.

MP4, MOV, M4V, AVI, MKV, WEBM, 3GP, MPEG or WMV - e.g. the fault happening.

Missed appointments

Missed appointments: if you do not attend without cancelling, the check-up fee for that appointment is not refundable, because the slot was held for you while other customers could not book it. A first missed appointment is excused. After that, any new booking must be paid in advance by bank transfer, and if it is not attended the payment is void and non-refundable.
