Apple MacBook Maintenance

What this includes

This service is designed to restore your Apple MacBook's cooling performance, reliability and overall health. The maintenance includes a complete internal clean, removal of dust and debris, cleaning of the cooling system, replacement of the CPU thermal paste (and GPU thermal paste where applicable on Intel models with dedicated graphics), inspection of the cooling fans, battery condition check, and comprehensive testing to ensure the MacBook is operating correctly after servicing. During the maintenance process, all major internal components, including the logic board, storage, battery, cooling system, display connectors and charging circuitry, will be visually inspected for signs of wear, overheating, liquid damage, corrosion or hardware failure. If any faults are discovered that require replacement parts or additional repair work, no extra work will be carried out without your approval first. You will be contacted with a full explanation of the findings, the recommended solution and a fixed quotation before any additional charges are incurred. Please note that this service covers preventative maintenance and cleaning only. The cost of replacement parts, liquid damage repairs, logic board repairs, display repairs, battery replacement, or any additional repair work is not included and will be quoted separately if required. Most repairs / maintenance jobs are completed within 1 to 3 working days. 15 minutes is for dropping your device off, not for the work itself.

Please read before booking

We repair laptops and desktop computers only. We do not repair mobile phones, tablets or any other handheld devices, games consoles, or carry out micro-soldering and board-level chip repairs. Please do not book these in - we will not be able to help.

Missed appointments

Missed appointments: if you do not attend without cancelling, the check-up fee for that appointment is not refundable, because the slot was held for you while other customers could not book it. A first missed appointment is excused. After that, any new booking must be paid in advance by bank transfer, and if it is not attended the payment is void and non-refundable.
